Featuring Joico Celebrity Artist, Frederic Aspiras
Oh, say, did you see Gaga’s gorgeous inaugural updo, styled by her long-time mane man, Joico Celebrity Artist, Frederic Aspiras? It was a stunning moment for all the world to see; and one that deeply humbled her superstar hair artist. So much so, he’s sharing his thoughts on the momentous day, as well as the actual step-by-steps to achieving Gaga’s inaugural crown of glory.

The sun was shining on Lady Gaga’s gilded aviary brooch – a peace dove, dreamed up by Schiaparelli designer, Daniel Roseberry – but eyes were just as pinned to her golden, braided halo; a hairdo that Frederic created to honor the pivotal, presidential performance.
“This Halo Braided Updo was inspired by classic beauty that is timeless, heavenly, and oh-so-Gaga,” penned Frederic on his IG account. “Creating a romantic feel with a sense of pride and hope for this very special Inauguration event.” It was a particularly meaningful occasion for her longtime hairdresser, who treasured the historic symbolism. “Thank you, Lady Gaga, for this opportunity to give someone like me – the son of an immigrant – the chance to change the course of other children of immigrants. There is light at the end of the tunnel. It’s not always on, but if you try hard enough to look for it, you will find it! My mom would have been so proud. I know she’s looking down from heaven with so much pride.”
Bombshell-Blonde Bursting In Air…
The counterpoint to Gaga’s patriotic navy-and-red gown? Icy white-blonde hair, created by Frederic using LumiShine, Blonde Life, and Defy Damage – a trio that delivered shine, perfect tone, and protection in one fell swoop.
